Writer & Executive Creative Director

I write for The Guardian, The Telegraph, Grazia and Elle among others. I’m the author of ‘Open Up –  The Power of Talking about Money’ published by Serpent’s Tail and host of the Audible Original Podcast ‘Awkward Conversations About Money’.

I’m an award winning Executive Creative Director. Previously Partner at Anomaly London and Creative Director at Mother London, I’m now a freelance Brand Consultant/Creative Director (never been fussed on titles). I’ve held Creative Lead/ECD roles at Warner Music, BBC, ELLE and Vice. I now work direct to brands providing a full-service agency experience – from concept to production – and love bringing together a crack team spanning both the editorial and advertising world to create exceptional work for brands. I’ve recently worked with Bumble and Headspace to create global work.

I write and talk about our relationship with money a lot. I was Stylist magazines resident money writer, I have written about money for The Guardian, Elle, Grazia, Refinery29, i-paper and ES. My book and thoughts on money have been covered everywhere from The Telegraph to The Times.  I’ve consulted and written for financial brands – Barclays, First Direct, Starling, Natwest, Petal and ClearScore. I’ve spoken on personal finance on Radio 4, Radio 1 and for Stylist Live and Refinery29. I’ve recently collaborated with Headspace on a mindful spending programme.

I don’t work with buy now, pay later brands.

Oh – do please note, I write about other things too, like work culture, nipples, motherhood and hangovers.
